The Player Domain sits at the heart of our data infrastructure, tackling the complex challenges generated by player-facing services at scale. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team and help us build robust, reliable data foundations that power smarter decisions across the studio.

  • Deploy data products into production environments, applying best practices for monitoring, integration testing, and release management.
  • Guarantee data quality and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation across all data products.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to both technical and business teams, acting as a reliable point of contact for data-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to define use cases, refine requirements, and design scalable data pipeline solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and the continuous improvement of internal tools and processes.
  • Propose new ideas and innovative approaches to drive the evolution of our data engineering practices.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience & Knowledge
  • Solid hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data integration, modeling, optimization, and quality management within an Agile environment.
  • A good understanding of game-specific elements (PvP, PvE, co-op) and monetization mechanisms (season pass, vanity items, soft currency, etc.) is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience with ETL/ELT orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks
  • Familiarity with Data Observability practices and tools
  • Version control with Git

Interpersonal Skills

  • Clear, effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailored to the audience.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of service and ownership.
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and proactive — comfortable driving work forward and seeking support when needed.
