Intern Social Media & Events Specialist, 6-month contract

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Intern Communications, Social Media & Events Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support a variety of communications initiatives, including social media management, employee engagement events, internal communications campaigns, and visual content creation.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, community engagement, event coordination, and content production within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and publishing of content across social media channels
  • Assist with internal communications initiatives, including employee updates, campaigns, announcements, and engagement activities
  • Help plan and execute online and offline events, including employee engagement initiatives and studio activities
  • Gather stories, achievements, and highlights from teams across the studio for internal and external communications
  • Create and adapt visual materials for social media, internal communications, presentations, and events
  • Assist with event logistics, coordination, setup, and post-event feedback collection
  • Monitor social media trends and identify new content opportunities
  • Support reporting and content performance tracking when needed

Requirements

  • Experience
  • Some experience in communications, social media management, content creation, event coordination, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience creating visual content for digital channels, university projects, personal portfolios, student organizations, or previous internships is an advantage.

Skills

  • Good understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with design tools such as Figma or Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to create visually appealing content and adapt assets for different platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creativity and an eye for storytelling and visual communication
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

  • Passion for communications, social media, storytelling, and event organization
